Currently, there are no sites listed on the tentative list. The country of luxembourg invites you to discover their three fabulous cultural sites, all registered on the unesco world heritage list. Even though i have a normal bucket list, i also want to share my unesco world heritage bucket list. It is surrounded by the buffer zone, the use and development of which are regulated in such a way as to give an added layer of protection to the heritage site. Luxembourg city with its old quarters and fortifications became a unesco world heritage site in 2001.these fortifications are a prime example of what a fortified european city once was like, so keeping this protected is important. I’m a real fan of it and can’t wait to discover most of them in my lifetime. Unesco is the united nations educational, scientific and cultural organization. The grand duchy is also home to the exhibition the family of man, which is listed on unesco's 'memory of the world' register.it also hosts the echternach hopping procession, recognised as an intangible cultural heritage. The total area of the world heritage site is 138.13 ha, which is 2.7% of luxembourg city. World heritage partnerships for conservation ensuring that world heritage sites sustain their outstanding universal value is an increasingly challenging mission in today’s complex world, where sites are vulnerable to the effects of uncontrolled urban development, unsustainable tourism practices, neglect, natural calamities, pollution, political instability, and conflict.
